Motorcycle Club Donates $2000 to Commander's Projects
On Friday, November 24th, our State Commander Clif Ketron met with the National President of Iron Coffins Motorcycle Club (ICMC). The club wanted to donate to a veterans organization but also to a charity. After discussions with Commander Ketron, they felt AMVETS would be a good fit.
Our State Commander is very grateful for the donations to his projects.
The first of his projects is the America's Freedom Lodge, a veterans organization charity who's aim is to show application to veterans by providing a recreational program designed to accommodate those who have sacrificed much and have been disabled or paralyzed.
The second is an AMVETS adopted project called SAVE THE 22, an organization dedicated to saving veterans' lives.
The money received from ICMC will go to fund these projects this year.
