Veteran Charities for Giving Tuesday
After the holiday weekend comes Giving Tuesday, a holiday that was created to celebrate what you have and to give back to a cause close to your heart. While there are millions of charities that have great causes, there are also a lot of charities specifically for Veterans. If you're looking for a Veteran charity to donate money or time today, please check out the options below and spread the word.
1. AMVETS
American Veterans has been helping veterans across the United States since 1944. They offer a legislative team specifically designed to watch legislation and protect veterans' rights. AMVETS also offers Service Officers free to veterans who are seeking help through the VA. They also help with other charities, job searches, training, civilian transitioning, and much more. 2. America's Freedom Lodge
America's Freedom Lodge is the Commander's Project for this year. Eric Scherer is raising funds to help this Veteran Charity. Their purpose is to show appreciation to the men and women who have served the U.S. by provide a recreational program designed to accommodate those who sacrificed much and have been disabled or paralyzed. 3. Disabled American Veterans

5. Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots have a mission to collect new, unwrapped toys before and during the holidays to distribute these toys during Christmas to less fortunate children in the community. If you would like to donate to Toys for Tots, click here.
6. National Military Family Association

7. USO

8. Armed Services YMCA
Armed Servies YMCA fills the highest priority gaps with low to no-cost programs and services including childcare, hospital assistance, counseling, emergency food and clothing, education, and youth and teen programs. If you would like to donate to ASYMCA, click here.
9. Cars for Veterans
